Castellare is a small farm in the high hills (470 m/1400 ft) surrounded by
woods and meadows with 1000 young olive trees. 20 kilometres from Florence,
it is a magical place, in a natural environment, intact and unspoiled. The
buildings are made of stone and date back many centuries. It is said that,
at one time, a small community of nuns lived here.
4 apartments are available, for 2 to 4 persons, each one tastefully
furnished and decorated.

|Castellare is an ancient building on the high hills that surround Florence. It is set on top of a private hill, invisible from the public street, and completely surrounded by nature. We have four accommoations, one with two bedrooms, suitable for a family, and threee with one bedroom. The Stalla is our larger one, and is displayed on two floors. Upstairs two spacious bedrooms (a double and a triple) and a bathroom; downstairs a big open space with a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room area.
The Capanna is a small detatched stone house with a bedroom, a bathroom and a room with a kitchen and a livingroom.
The Stalletta has the same display but a little smaller.
The Loggia has an independent kitchen, a livingroom, a bathroom and a bedroom on a loft. All houses have a small private garden with table and chairs. The swimming pool is just a few steps away in the main lawn.
In restructuring the buildings we tried to maintain its medieval flavour, so you will find an original stone floor and family pieces of furniture. Please enquire for more details or pictures.|
